Philip St. Romain
A person is an embodied soul, endowed with intelligence, memory and will. A person is a creature with needs whose fulfillment leads the person into deeper and deeper realizations of what it means to be human. The manner in which we meet our needs, however, determines what kind of person we become.
Living in recognition of one's dependence on God.
Dissociating from False Self concerns, and living
here/now-in/love. Soul not distorted/constricted, but open
and growing. System of consciousness and context for meeting needs in
response to inner feelings of fear, shame and resentment.
False self needs provide over-arching context for meeting
basic needs.
