Mentoring / coaching options provide opportunities for a more structured interaction concerning a specific topic. Currently, we have several options available, and will be adding more as we go along (suggestions and proposals are welcomed). Directors who register and pay for a listing in our directory may be listed under as many of these options as they feel they have competency.
If an applicant requests your services, we forward the information to you and you take the initiative in setting up either a phone or email conference with the applicant to discuss the issue. For every applicant requesting your services, we pay you $30 for the first hour of time spent in email and/or telephone interaction with. If you have a paypal account, we deposit your $30 in it immediately. Payments by check will be sent at the end of every quarter, or you may apply earnings toward your ongoing listing fee.
We also make available to you all of the shalomplace.com resources listed under the various mentoring options. This is essentially a subscription to our eBookStore -- a $20 value, if you were to purchase it from our online store.
After your first hour with the applicant, you two can negotiate how you wish to continue interacting. Hopefully, some will want to continue in spiritual direction. All fees and collection of fees are to be worked out between you and the applicant following the first hour of your interaction together.
